Who is Kilroywash3r3?
Hi, my name is John Bennett, or Kilroywash3r3 (Kilroy Was Here), and I am a Lo-Fi Hip Hop producer currently located in Huntsville, Alabama. Music has been a big part of my life ever since the day I popped out of my mom. When I was a little kid, I remember having the urge to make my songs, but I had nothing to make them with. Since I lacked proper instruments, I always had to rely on my creativity whenever I wanted to make something. A tote pan and some spoons could be my drums and a paper towel roll with some rubber bands could be my guitar. I would spend 11 years of my life creating janky jams on some makeshift instruments, and it wasn't until 6th grade that I got my first instrument, the baritone, because I decided to join my middle school band. I remained in the band for 3 years but decided to quit my freshman year due to immense boredom. During my freshman year, I decided to take a hiatus from music as a whole to devote more time to other hobbies like video games, but in my sophomore year, I went right back at it. I downloaded a trial version of FL Studio, bought a midi keyboard, and hopped back into making music. Ever since then, I've made music every day and now I share it with others all around the world on my several social media platforms. Creating and sharing music is something I plan to do until the day I drop dead.

Knxwledge, Madlib, Tame Impala, King Gizzard, Mac Miller, The Garden KAYTRANADA and Samiyam are some artists who inspire me.
I’ve been making music for 3 years. Boredom and a lack of a social life is what got me started with producing.
I may try to curate an album sometime in the future, but right now, I’m just sticking to beat tapes.
I really like watching YouTube
If we’re taking about music related items only, I’d bring my computer, my Ableton Push 2, and an everlasting power source.
