Helsinki's Aves Unveil Immersive New Album Transformations

Finnish dream-pop outfit Aves return with their highly anticipated sophomore album, Transformations, out now. This ten-track journey delves into themes of personal growth, mental health, and the transformative power of life's experiences.

The album marks a sonic evolution for the band. Lush soundscapes blend electronic pop with soaring synths and introspective lyrics. Collaborations with Icelandic artist JFDR and Danish singer Lydmor add further depth and texture.

Lead single "Not Go Home" featuring Lake Jons exemplifies the album's themes. This sultry 70s-inspired track explores identity and the longing for freedom. A captivating music video by Terézia Halamová complements the song's introspective nature.

Produced by industry veterans Jonas Verwijnen and Luca Buccellati, Transformations boasts a polished and expansive sound. From the joyous celebration of "Gem Of The Ocean" featuring JFDR to the introspective "Silent Solitude", the album takes listeners on a captivating emotional journey.

Aves' commitment to personal expression extends beyond music. They've collaborated with filmmaker Inka Rusi on the upcoming film "Neon Cross", advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights and representation.

Transformations is an album that celebrates change, resilience, and the strength found in vulnerability. Aves invites listeners to embrace their journeys and find beauty in transformation.
