This Valentine’s Day, Jay Alan shares “Lovesick,” a pandemic-inspired love song with a twist

“Lovesick” ft. Alexa Noelle Wilhelm is the third and final single releasing ahead of Jay Alan’s highly-anticipated debut EP

Jay Alan speaks about Lovesick:

“‘Lovesick’ was conceived because my boyfriend went away on a trip. I lived with him through the pandemic and was with him 24/7, so even a few days on my own felt very lonely. I wrote the chorus to send as a little ‘I love you and miss you’ voice memo, but the song just bloomed after that.”

Alexa Noelle Wilhelm speaks about Lovesick:

“‘Lovesick’ encapsulates the spark, excitement, and hesitation felt at the beginning of a new relationship. That’s a really special feeling to capture, especially with a song I feel many people can relate to.”
